Tech giant Google has unveiled its latest artificial intelligence system called “Gemini,” representing a major advancement in AI capabilities. Gemini is Google’s “most capable and general model yet” according to CEO Sundar Pichai, surpassing previous AI systems in performance across a range of benchmarks.

What makes Gemini stand out is its ability to understand and reason across different types of data including text, images, audio, video and code. This allows it to operate seamlessly across modalities in a way no other AI system has been able to.
