While current LLMs impress us with their abilities to generate text and respond to prompts, they still flounder when presented with tasks that require steps or advanced reasoning, and are notorious for hallucinating (generating superficially convincing, but entirely inaccurate information).

Strawberry aims to correct this. But why on earth is it called “strawberry?”
