Wildlife volunteers caught a python that terrified residents when it was found slithering over a kitchen sink in Thailand. Footage shows animal rescuers dragging the serpent away using snake tongs after it entered the home of Saksan Aiamsuk in Chonburi province on July 14. The creature was sealed inside a sack and later freed into its natural habitat. The reticulated python is found throughout Southeast Asia, where they live in forests, swamps, canals and even in cities, causing them to come into conflict with humans. The species is one of the world’s largest snakes and can eat humans, cats, dogs, birds, rats and other snakes.
