The McGoogan Health Sciences Library has announced six Generative AI Exploration workshops. These workshops will be offered in person and via Zoom. UNMC Omaha campus faculty and staff are encouraged to attend the in-person workshops. UNMC Lincoln, Kearney, Norfolk, and Scottsbluff-Gering campuses can register for the workshops via Zoom.
Attendees will explore popular generative AI tools including Bard, ChatGPT, Bing CoPilot and Claude, learn the basic functions and how to create prompts. These workshops will leave plenty of time for attendees to share what they know and learn from others. For the in-person workshops, attendees are asked to bring their own device, such as a smart phone, mobile Wi-Fi device or laptop, for a hands-on AI encounter. Online attendees should be ready to use their own device.
