ChatGPT‘s voice chat, a feature that lets you use vocal-based prompts to converse with OpenAI’s chatbot, is now available to all users.
Despite OpenAI’s drama and chaos causing shockwaves in the media, it looks like employees are still keeping their heads on straight to maintain and improve ChatGPT.
How to use ChatGPT Voice
Step 1:
Fire up ChatGPT on your phone
Make sure the app is updated. You can do this by going to the app’s page in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Step 2:
Click on the headphones icon
You’ll find the headphones icon on the right — near the message field.

Step 3:
Tap on “Choose a Voice”
It’s the blue button. You can’t miss it!

Step 4:
Listen to each voice and choose your favorite.
There are five to choose from: Breeze, Ember, Cove, Juniper and Sky

Step 5:
ChatGPT is listening now. Start talking.
You can begin having a natural conversation with the AI chatbot.

Previously, the feature was only available to ChatGPT Plus and Enterprise users with access to an iPhone or iPad. Now everyone, even non-paying users, can enjoy ChatGPT’s new voice capabilities.
