KARACHI: The Fatima Jinnah Dental College (FJDC) is at the forefront of launching its groundbreaking programme — Certified Generative AI for Healthcare and Medicine Specialization – for individuals of all ages and backgrounds, interested in mastering the practical applications of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in the healthcare sector.
Teaming up with renowned AI experts, including Mr Zia Ullah Khan (CEO of Panacloud (Pvt.) Ltd. and Voluntary COO at PIAIC) and his team, FJDC has developed a comprehensive 6-month programme.
Designed to empower participants with the knowledge and skills required to thrive in the AI-driven healthcare landscape, the programme consists of two quarters, each covering two modules, and is conducted every Saturday, providing maximum flexibility for busy professionals and students.
The programme kicked off with an engaging Open House and Orientation Day, attracting over 200 enthusiastic attendees. The event featuring thought-provoking presentations by leading experts, interactive Q&A sessions, and inspiring speeches from Dr Hussain Askary (CEO and Community Dentistry Department Head) and Dr Baqar Askary (Chairman and Head of Institute at FJDC).
Dr Askary shared his outlook for the course, highlighting its potential to revolutionise the field of dentistry by equipping individuals with the tools to integrate cutting-edge generative AI technology into their practice. He encouraged participants to stay motivated and embrace the positive changes that AI will bring to the healthcare industry.
