Abstract
Tunnel oxide passivated contacts (TOPCon) have recently gained interest as a way to increase the energy conversion efficiency of silicon solar cells, and the International Technology Roadmap of Photovoltaics forecasts TOPCon to become an important technology despite a few remaining challenges.
