Claude or ChatGPT? What Should You Use With Undetectable AI

Here in Gold Penguin, we’ve been on the hunt for the best AI bypasser since day one. We’ve tested HideMyAI, WriteHuman, Netus, and more.

And so far, none have come close to Undetectable AI.

But here’s the thing many people using paraphrasers don’t consider: it’s more than the AI bypasser. What LLM you use with it also matters. And that’s what I’ll prove in this article.

Today, let’s see whether Claude or ChatGPT works better with Undetectable AI. Spoiler alert: it’s Claude — but the reason why might surprise you, so stay tuned!

What is Undetectable AI?

Undetectable AI is an AI detection bypassing platform made to lessen AI likelihood scores by humanizing AI-generated text. This process includes a careful rearrangement of the original text and adding intentional mistakes to recreate human writing or, at least, an approximation of it according to detectors. It also has output customization for the following:

  • Readability. High school, university, doctorate, journalist, and marketing.
  • Purpose. General writing, essay, article, marketing material, story, cover letter, report, business material, and legal material.
  • Balance. More human, more readable, balanced.

What are Claude and ChatGPT?

I know we’re all familiar with ChatGPT and Claude — but here’s a quick introduction of these LLMs anyway:

ChatGPT and Claude are two of the most popular language models today. Developed by OpenAI and Anthropic respectively, these systems can engage in natural conversations, answer questions, and assist with various tasks.

ChatGPT, launched in November 2022, quickly gained popularity for its ability to generate human-like text across a wide range of topics with little to no errors. Claude, introduced later, offers similar capabilities with a focus on safety. So while the former focuses on versatility, the latter focuses on the ethical considerations that come with AI systems.

Claude vs. ChatGPT: What Works Better With Undetectable AI

I’ve reviewed Undetectable AI a lot in the past, and there’s one thing I’ve noticed: AI detectors react differently depending on the source. Most of the time, I get lower AI likelihood scores with Claude over ChatGPT. So, instead of theorizing, I decided to put them both to the test.

In this test, I’ll use the same prompts for Claude and ChatGPT, tweak their respective outputs using Undetectable AI, then get an AI likelihood score from Sapling AI. Here’s the result:

What Makes Claude Better With Undetectable AI?

It’s hard to say why exactly Claude works better with Undetectable AI than ChatGPT, but I have a hunch.

Despite the number of free LLMs online, ChatGPT remains the most popular because of people’s loyalty to the software. Unfortunately, this also means that detectors are most likely trained using ChatGPT outputs more than any other LLM. This could be the biggest reason why ChatGPT, even when tweaked, can be detected by Sapling AI.

Another reason could be because ChatGPT is also prone to hallucinations. These are easily identifiable by detectors especially when it’s repeated throughout an entire text.

The Bottom Line

After months of using Undetectable AI, I’m finally glad to have confirmation that I wasn’t going crazy when I first thought that it works a whole lot better with Claude. Sure, I only have a limited sample size and the difference isn’t really night and day, but the fact still remains that you’re better off using Claude with Undetectable AI.

But as I always mention, this shouldn’t be your only consideration when picking an LLM with Undetectable AI. You also have to check which creates more readable outputs so that you’d have less time tweaking the final output further.
