Building Next Generation Applications Using Generative AI
Webinar Speaker: Fern Halper, TDWI VP Research, Senior Research Director for Advanced Analytics
Date: Thursday, November 16, 2023
Time: 9:00 a.m. PT / 12:00 p.m. ET
It is safe to say that the world has been captivated by generative AI. TDWI defines generative AI as a subset of artificial intelligence that includes systems designed to generate outputs, such as images, music, text, or other forms of media, based on its training data. There are a range of applications that can be built using generative AI, but the real competitive advantage may come as organizations use their own data in conjunction with foundation models such as large language models (LLMs).
Building these applications requires new skills, raises new concerns about data security and governance, and involves taking another look at your company’s infrastructure and the architecture to support generative AI that uses your internal data.
Join this TDWI webinar to learn more about building and deploying generative AI applications. Topics include:
- An overview of generative AI and the state of market adoption
- Use cases that leverage a company’s internal data
- The importance of vector databases in generative AI
- How to build and deploy a generative AI application while protecting company data
- Modern platforms to support AI and generative AI
