We already heard about the company’s plans to start allowing creators to participate in in-house educational training. This is open for those who make violations for the first time so that they can remove any strikes added to accounts. Now, this is getting an expansion so all app users can benefit. And we’re talking not just Facebook but Instagram users too.
As noted back in August, the idea for this feature is like going to traffic school. Anyone making a violation goes back to complete a short training course in the app to stop strikes added to their account. This also means removing any limitations that come with this.
Users can take full advantage of this system once a year for any first-time offenses conducted. The process for getting rid of warnings on the account will be up for grabs to those on the app. This is the same for creators on Instagram.
Anyone who makes a serious offense on either platform will not have this opportunity. In case you’re wondering, this means posts linked to exploitation, explicit content, or sales of banned substances.
The latest initiative put out by Meta is a means to reform the whole penalty system. It’s been so frustrating for many people and also causes so much confusion as many don’t know what to do next. So many creators end up making errors but don’t know what they did wrong unintentionally.
As shared by the tech giant in a recent blog post, the app’s in-house education features continue to show signs of great success amongst creators of the app. Anyone who got rid of the first strikes was likely to have misunderstood the entire policy. Once they go through it again, they’re less likely to make the same error twice.
